Spring School

<Application conditions>

Q: Can all applicants participate in the Spring School?

A: Not all applicants can participate in the Spring School if the  number of applicants exceeds the maximum. The PARE Steering Committee consisting of Hokkaido University and its cooperated six universities will review applicants and select participants.

Q: I am a graduate student of literature of Hokkaido university. Am I eligible to apply for the Spring School?

A: Yes, you are eligible if you meet the conditions of the guild line.

Q: I am an undergraduate student of Hokkaido university. Am I eligible to apply for the Spring School?

A: Basically, this program aims for graduate students.  If you are a senior student and sure to enroll a graduate school, you may be accepted as an applicant for Spring School with some conditions. Please ask  PARE central office for further details.

Q: I am a student who is in latter period of doctoral program.  Am I eligible to apply for the Spring School?

A: Basically, this program aims for graduate students. However, you might be accepted as an applicant with some conditions. Please ask the PARE central office for further details.

Q: My English proficiency does not meet the conditions stated in the guideline of the Spring School. Am I eligible to apply for the Spring School?

A: Yes, you are eligible. However, English proficiency can be a criterion to select participants when the number of applicants exceed the maximum.  Also, you have to submit to PARE central office a recommendation letter prepared by your advisor. The recommendation letter should mention that your English proficiency is good enough to understand a lecture provided in English and to make a report in English.
